The deadline for entering videos has passed! You've missed your chance to submit a scream...

Enter your scream!

Ready to help us out in our mission? If so, you're in the right place! Before you go ahead and submit your own scream, be sure to check out some of the existing entries for inspiration.

Once you've got an idea for your video, and have exercised your vocal chords, you'll need to record it using a camera or mobile phone. The tricky bit is this: it can only be 10 seconds long, or less. Next, upload it to YouTube and add a description. You'll need to copy the website address of your video from YouTube to enter in the form below (it'll be something like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OLtrGf4wWE4).

When you've submitted your entry, you can get your friends and family to vote for it to give you a chance of being one of the 10 winning videos included in the mission - once the voting period is over, we'll get in touch to let you know how you've done. If your scream gets over 50 votes, we'll include it in a compilation video of runner-up screams on the satellite. Good luck!

The competition ends on 5th November 2012 at 23:59 GMT.

By entering the Scream in Space competition, you agree to grant us (Cambridge University Spaceflight) a royalty-free, non-exclusive license to publish and otherwise use your video, and understand that your video and name may be used for promotional purposes.
